Job summary

Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking a Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Texas. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, provide accurate labor estimates, and communicate with customers and service advisors. We value ongoing training and a strong focus on quality service.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Certified preferred.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Be experienced with latest automotive technologies and a persistent problem solver.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to specification.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to service advisors and customers in non-technical terms.
• Continue learning new techniques in formal training.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings for repairs.
