Job summary

Griffith Ford San Marcos is seeking certified/experienced automotive technicians to join our service team. You will maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles in the service bay and communicate with service advisors about vehicle needs.

We offer relocation coverage for qualified candidates, competitive hourly pay from $19 to $53 based on experience, plus benefits and paid training. ASE certification preferred and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

ASE Certification preferred.
Previous technician experience.
A-level qualifications: diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, electrical, braking, steering and HVAC systems.
Communicate with Service Advisor about needed services and estimates.
Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
