Job summary

Griffith Ford seeks Certified/Experienced Technicians to join our service team. You will maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles within the service bay, providing accurate information to the service manager and service advisors for vehicles processed through the shop.

Not in the San Marcos area? Griffith Ford will cover relocation expenses for the right, qualified candidate. Earn anywhere from $19 to $53 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Experience diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
