Job summary

Verify, Inc. is seeking an Auditor to join our aerospace/defense quality team across multiple US locations.

You will examine the Quality Management System (QMS), observe evidence of continuous improvement, and perform AS9100 audits for various suppliers. You will report findings and corrective actions to customers via our web application, identify major and minor findings, and contribute to evaluating corrective actions for effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong background in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Independent contractor (1099) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform AS9100 audits for various suppliers.
• Examine the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure effectiveness.
• Identify major/minor findings and report to customers via web application.
• Initiate, review, and approve corrective action responses and evaluate effectiveness.

Position Overview:

The auditor will perform examination of the Quality Management System (QMS), in order to ensure its effectiveness, including observing evidence of continuous improvement. Perform AS9100 audits for various suppliers. The ability to identify major findings, minor findings, observations, and report information directly to the customer via web application. Experience initiating, reviewing, and approval of corrective action responses and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented corrective action(s).

Skills and Abilities:

• A strong background in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Must have proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099).

Required Qualifications:

• Must be AS9100 certified
