Job summary

Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Athletic Trainer in Dothan, AL to provide athletic training services for assigned sports events. The ATC will assist team physicians, maintain records, and communicate with coaches regarding injured athletes.

Responsibilities include coverage of events, rendering treatments as ordered, and proper referral to physicians. Collaboration with the Sports Medicine team and adherence to NATA standards are required to ensure athlete safety and care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved college/university.
• Eligible/certified through National Athletic Trainers Association/BOC.
• Eligible/licensed through Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Sports Medicine team and cover assigned athletic events.
• Attend athletic events and assist the team physician.
• Maintain communication with coaching staff regarding status of injured players.
• Record progress on injured athletes using established forms.
• Refer athletic injuries to physician for diagnosis and treatment referral.
• Perform treatments as ordered by physician.
• Maintain equipment and supplies for coverage of athletic events.
• Document incident reports with Sports Medicine Coordinator.

Education
