Job summary

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for student-athletes. The role services contracted schools and coordinates access to additional health care for athletes in Gilbert, AZ.

Schedule is Per Diem/PRN and coverage will be coordinated with Banner’s needs. Responsibilities include designing rehabilitation programs, applying athletic training techniques, and coordinating EMS when needed to minimize injury impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• NATA-BOC certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement athletic training programs for injured athletes.
• Determine need for and administer training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures.
• Promote the company and outreach through events and partnerships.

Compensation: $35.00 hourly

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. This position will be supporting all contracted Banner Physical Therapy High Schools in/around Gilbert, AZ. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support, to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required
