Banner Physical Therapy seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for student athletes, floating between American Leadership Academy Gilbert North and Queen Creek for up to 40 hours weekly with no clinic hours.

This full-time role offers starting pay of $55,000/year, up to a $3,500 sign-on, student debt benefit, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, PTO, and retirement plans to support growth in sports medicine at high school and collegiate levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree required.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification credential.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state athletic trainer license required.
• Preferred: Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Determine the effectiveness of training and record changes per plan of care.
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures to minimize impact on injured athletes.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our student athletes! In this role, the Athletic Trainer will be floating between American Leadership Academy Gilbert North & Queen Creek for up to 40 hours per week. All hours will be dedicated to the HS with no clinic hours required

Compensation: Starting at $55,000, annually, based on years of experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
