Responsibilities

• Recognize and evaluate injuries.
• Provide first aid or emergency care.
• Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
• Plan and implement injury prevention programs.
• Serve as an outreach Athletic Trainer at a large high school.
• Maintain and strengthen affiliation relationships.
• Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, games, and scrimmages.
• Ensure excellent healthcare outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Develop protocols for common diagnoses.
• Participate in research studies.
• Work conditioning experience or interest.
• Continue professional development through education and courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Graduate from a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program.
• Certification and licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
