Northside Hospital - Orthopedic Care Team Leader

The role will function as a physician extender and a leader of the orthopedic care team. Responsibilities include supervising the Athletic Training program, providing leadership and managerial oversight of the Athletic Trainer team, developing partnerships and strategic initiatives related to the Northside Hospital Sports Medicine Network, and assisting in clinical practice operations. The practice will focus on general orthopedics and adult and pediatric sports medicine. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers (BOC-ATC) AND licensed by the Georgia Board of Athletic Trainers (Licensed Athletic Trainer-LAT).
2. Membership with NATA (National Athletic Trainers' Association) or BOC-ATC.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Orthopaedic Technologist-Certified (OTC) through the National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists (NBCOT) and/or OPA-C/OA-C through the National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Physician's Assistants/National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Assistants (NBCOPA/NBCOA).
2. 2+ years of Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) experience.
