Overview

Confluent Health System Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist PhD / Director of SPARC at Emory Physical Therapy, Johns Creek. The SPARC Program is the nation's largest sports performance and research center located at the Falcons Flowery Branch Headquarters. We seek an experienced clinician with strong language, math, and reasoning skills to lead research lab operations at this location.

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervise research lab operations at Emory Physical Therapy, Johns Creek.
  • Guide participation in research activities for clinical staff.
  • Participate in research grant proposal submissions.
  • Technically supervise research grant activities in Biomedical and Rehabilitation Engineering, and Motion Analysis.
  • Supervise publications and related research activities.
  • Provide patient care for physical therapy patients of all ages, including assessments, planning, treatment, education, and discharge planning.
  • Delegate activities to staff and supervise them appropriately.
  • Collaborate with referrers to establish optimal care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
Reporting Relationships:

The Physical Therapist reports directly to the Director of Rehabilitation and Greg Myer regarding clinical services in the Motion Analysis Lab.

Qualifications
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Physical Therapy PhD
  • Current Georgia physical therapist license
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 10 years of clinical experience.
  • Extensive research experience.
