ConnectedHealth is seeking a Full-time Certified Athletic Trainer in Bishop, California. In this clinic-based role, you will support orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants, perform patient intake, document histories, and assist with procedures.
You will deliver injury prevention, rehabilitation, and concussion education for high school and local sports, and provide on-site event coverage. The position requires ATC certification and active licensure.
Full-time Certified Athletic Trainer position located in Bishop, California. Supports orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants in a clinic setting while providing athletic training and injury prevention services to local high school, ski, and snowboard teams. Delivers strength and conditioning and return-to-activity programs for post-operative patients.
Support orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants with patient care in a clinic setting.
Greet and room patients, obtain vitals and medical histories, and document patient information.
Carry out physician and PA treatment recommendations and provide patient education.
Prepare for and assist with in-office procedures.
Coordinate care with surgery schedulers, authorization teams, physical therapy, and other healthcare departments.
Fabricate, adjust, and remove orthopedic devices and apply mobilization and immobilization devices.
Assist with traction, casting, splinting, wound dressings, and suture removal.
Provide athletic training coverage for local high school home games and athletic events.
Support local high school, ski, and snowboard teams with injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, and emergency care.
Develop and follow emergency action plans for athletic facilities and events.
Provide concussion education and training for coaching staff.
You hold a current ATC certification and license. You enjoy supporting surgeons and PA in orthopedic clinics. You can provide injury prevention for high school athletes
