Job summary

Fccmocksville in Statesville, NC is seeking an Athletic Trainer responsible for treating and preventing injuries of local school athletes. The ideal candidate will assist Physical Therapists and help with clerical work in the Rehabilitation Service Department. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, be certified, and licensed in NC. A flexible schedule to accommodate school sports is available, and a sign-on bonus is eligible.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks required for position.

Shift: M-F; flexible for school sports/practice

Performs a variety of duties involved in the treatment and prevention of injury and in the care, evaluation, and rehabilitation of local school athletes. Assists Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in providing physical therapy services to inpatients and outpatients. Assists with clerical duties of the Rehabilitation Service Department. Has full access to patient health information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program
• Certified by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainer
• Licensed in NC as an Athletic Trainer
• CPR/First Aid Training certification required through The American Heart Association or American Red Cross. If not currently certified must complete upon hire.
• Work requires physical mobility and manual dexterity.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
