Job summary

Iredell Health System is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support sports medicine services for local school athletes. The role involves assisting with treatment, evaluation, and rehabilitation, and working with Physical Therapists and their assistants in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Athletic Training, BOC certification, NC licensure, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
• Certified by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainer
• Licensed in NC as an Athletic Trainer
• CPR/First Aid Training certification required through The American Heart Association or American Red Cross. If not currently certified must complete upon hire.
• Work requires physical mobility and manual dexterity.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
