Job summary

Fusion Physical Therapy Partners' Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise in Merrimack, NH, is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training services for student-athletes. You will work with medical staff, coaches, and athletes on prevention, evaluation, and treatment plans.

The ideal candidate is BOC certified, NH-licensed, CPR and First Aid certified, with a CAATE-accredited degree and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an Accredited CAATE Program.
• BOC Certification and NH licensure as Athletic Trainer.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical conditions of athletes and develop plans to meet goals.
• Include prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
• Handle organization, administration, and professional responsibility.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with partners.
• Collaborate with medical staff, coaches, and athletes to ensure continuum of care.

Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise, a proud member of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, is looking for a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide Athletic Training services for student athletes in Merrimack, NH.

About the Role:

The Athletic Trainer will be working alongside medical professionals, coaches, and athletes to review medical conditions of athletes and develop plans to meet athlete goals. This includes prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning; organization and administration; and professional responsibility.

What You’ll Do:

• Apply protective or injury-preventive devices, such as tape, bandages, and braces
• Recognize and evaluate injuries at assigned affiliate or clinic and provide first aid or emergency care to injured athletes/patients
• Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes and plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent future injury and illnesses with athletes
• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records of injuries and writing reports on injuries and treatment programs following company documentation protocols.
• Maintain communications with internal and external partners with regards to the progress of the injured athlete as well as informing of CPTE services and locations for continuum of care.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree graduate from an Accredited CAATE Program
