Job summary

Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise (CPTE) in Merrimack, NH seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to support student athletes. You will work with medical staff, coaches, and athletes on evaluation, prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an Accredited CAATE Program
• BOC Certified
• Licensed in NH as an Athletic Trainer
• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Apply protective or injury-preventive devices, such as tape, bandages, and braces
• Recognize and evaluate injuries; provide first aid or emergency care to injured athletes/patients
• Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes and plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent future injury and illnesses with athletes
• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records of injuries and writing reports on injuries and treatment programs following company documentation protocols
• Maintain communications with internal and external partners regarding progress of the injured athlete and CPTE services and locations for continuum of care
