Job summary

OrthoAtlanta, the largest independent physician-owned orthopedic and sports medicine practice in Georgia, is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide on-site services to student-athletes, develop injury prevention and rehab programs, and collaborate with physicians and school staff.

The role requires 1–5 years of experience, a Bachelor’s or Master’s in athletic training, BOC certification and Georgia licensure, CPR/AED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in athletic training or related field.
• BOC Certification and Georgia state licensure.
• CPR/AED certification for healthcare providers.
• 1–5 years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site athletic training services to student-athletes.
• Develop and execute injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.
• Evaluate and manage injuries, illnesses, and conditions related to sports participation.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, coaches, and school staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure healthcare compliance.
• Educate and mentor student athletic trainers.
• Promote total athlete wellness and readiness.
