Job summary

Premier Sports Medicine, a fast-growing provider of athletic training and sports medicine services, is seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at a university in Cleveland, OH. This full-time position covers practices and games and coordinates access to additional health care for athletes.

There may be opportunities for weekend events or PRN work, and you will collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other stakeholders while supporting injury prevention and wellness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Current BOC certification and eligible for state licensure.
• New graduates encouraged; 3–5 years preferred; supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training coverage at practices, games, and events.
• Prevent, assess, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries.
• Maintain accurate injury and rehabilitation records.
• Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and stakeholders.
• Support injury prevention and strength/conditioning initiatives.
• Assist with concussion and wellness program development.
• Participate in professional development and company programs (CPR training, impact testing, etc.).

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position with a University in Cleveland, OH. In this role, you will provide coverage for practices and games, along with coordinating access to additional health care for their athletes. Additionally, there will be opportunities for weekend events and/or PRN work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training coverage at practices, games, and events
• Prevent, assess, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries
• Maintain accurate injury and rehabilitation records
• Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other key stakeholders as needed
• Support injury prevention and strength/conditioning initiatives
• Assist with the development of concussion and wellness programs
• Participate in continued professional development and company programs (CPR training, impact testing, etc.).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Certification: Current BOC certification and eligible for state licensure
