About the Role:

As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries related to physical activity and sports. Your primary objective will be to ensure the health and safety of athletes and physically active individuals by developing and implementing comprehensive injury prevention programs. You will collaborate closely with physicians, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to provide immediate care and rehabilitation plans tailored to each individual's needs. This role demands continuous assessment and monitoring of athletes' physical conditions to facilitate safe return-to-play decisions. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to optimizing athletic performance while minimizing injury risks across diverse populations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
  • Current state licensure or registration as required by the state of employment.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and sports-related injuries.
  • Ability to perform emergency care and first aid procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with collegiate or professional athletes.
  • Advanced certifications such as CPR, AED, and First Responder training.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Continuing education in specialized areas such as concussion management or orthopedic rehabilitation.
