Qualifications

• Experience with neuro and orthopedic anesthesia is essential.
• Successful completion of accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program required.
• Current certification from relevant South Carolina agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative evaluation of patients.
• Administer appropriate anesthetics under supervision.
• Maintain patient records and assist in patient transport.

Skills

Experience administering major vascular anesthesia

Experience with outpatient surgery anesthesia

Ability to administer multiple anesthesia types

High level of professionalism

Education

Certification from recognized Anesthesiologist Assistant program

Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
