Job summary

MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants to join our growing practice in Florence, SC. The AA will work with a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team across MUSC Health campuses in Florence, SC.

This full-time role includes flexible shift options (8s, 10s, 12s) and opportunities to pick up additional shifts, with no weekends or call. Malpractice coverage and generous incentives support a stable, rewarding practice environment.

Qualifications

• Experience administering major vascular, pediatric, neuro, regional and orthopedic anesthesia.
• Certification as Anesthesiologist Assistant per NCCAA requirements.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications or ADA/AHA equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative management for indicated anesthesia services.
• Pre-, intra-, and post-operative evaluation of surgical patients.
• Administer anesthetics within written practice protocol with attending anesthesiologists.
• Operate anesthesia machines and maintain accurate patient records.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional standards.
