Qualifications

• Education: program for anesthesiologist assistant education approved by OK State Board.
• Certification: NCCAA cert within 1 year of completing training.
• Active medical license in Oklahoma.
• Certification by NCCCA or NC-Certification for Anesthesiologist Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgeries and procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-anesthetic evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care.
• Assist and educate residents and students on anesthesia rotations.
• Coordinate with supervising anesthesiologist and hospital team.
