Job Description
Anesthesiologist Assistant will assist anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia for surgical and non‑surgical procedures. The role involves monitoring patient status and providing patient care during surgical treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction, supervision, or training to staff in areas such as anesthesia practices.
- Pre‑test and calibrate anesthesia delivery systems and monitors.
- Control anesthesia levels during procedures.
- Collect and document patients’ pre‑anesthetic health histories.
- Respond to emergency situations by providing CPR, BLS, ACLS, or PALS.
- Assist anesthesiologists in monitoring patients, including EKG, direct arterial pressure, central venous pressure, arterial blood gas, hematocrit, and routine vital measurements.
