Avir Health Group is seeking a Certified Activity Director (LTC/SNF) for our Woodlands facility. You will plan, implement, and evaluate activity programs to engage residents socially, physically, and emotionally, working with an interdisciplinary team to tailor activities to individual needs.

Required certification and a strong background in recreation therapy or gerontology, with a high school diploma at minimum. Flexibility for varied hours and weekend work is expected.

Formación

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in dementia care or similar cognitive impairment settings.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and families.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities, including recreational, social, and therapeutic programs
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to understand individual needs and preferences
• Identify and assess community resources that can enhance activity programs
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure activity programs align with resident goals and preferences
• Maintain accurate records of activity participation, resident engagement, and program evaluations
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development to stay current with best practices
