You will lead activity staff and volunteers, develop monthly calendars, document assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations while collaborating with nursing and therapy teams.

Qualifications

• Certified Activity Director is required.
• High school diploma required; degree in Recreation Therapy or related field preferred.
• Experience leading activities in healthcare or SNF settings required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and lead engaging resident programs.
• Compassionate, energetic and resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee activities for residents.
• Develop monthly and weekly calendars based on resident interests.
• Lead and supervise activity staff, aides, and volunteers.
• Ensure resident engagement and participation in programs.
• Maintain documentation, attendance records, and assessments.
• Coordinate events, outings, and holiday programs.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams.
• Manage supplies, budget, and inventory for the activity department.
• Ensure programs comply with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain organized, safe activity spaces.
