Requirements for Activities Director:

• Activities Director Certification (ADC) preferred
• Nursing home experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties for Activities Director:

• Supervise, schedule and evaluate all staff and volunteers involved in activities program
• Carry out scheduled programs when necessary
• Develop, execute and evaluate programs that reflect the need and interests of the residents
• Coordinate all entertainment for all the residents
• Supervise and maintain activities department staff
• Maintain documentation and comply with all state and federal policies and procedures
