Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking an Mx Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications and other aircraft upkeep in accordance with FAA regulations, GMM, and manufacturer specifications. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license; prior A&P or airline experience is preferred, plus the ability to read manuals and input data.

Work may occur inside and outside the hangar, with shifts including nights or weekends to support

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
Previous experience as an A&P mechanic or airline experience is preferred.
Experience using a computer to look up information and input data.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Troubleshoot aircraft systems and execute maintenance work orders.
Review and sign off on maintenance paperwork; ensure calibration of tools and completeness of records.
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Assist with shift turnover and maintain up-to-date training and certifications.
