Job summary

ClickHouse is expanding its Learning Team and seeks a leader to own certification programs, expand exam offerings, and build a community of ClickHouse certified professionals. You will develop performance-based exams, collaborate with domain SMEs, and drive quizzes and badges while engaging with learners and industry events.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in technical certification, strong SQL skills, and experience with databases and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• A self-motivated attitude that provides you with the desire and determination to complete projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proven experience developing certification exams and quizzes for a highly technical audience like software engineers and database developers
• Experience with SQL
• Technical breadth and depth in relevant subjects such as DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, and big data
• You have a high level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and effectively
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop performance-based, hands-on ClickHouse certification exams on real-time analytics, observability and data warehousing use cases.
• Collaborate with company SMEs to create job task analyses for exams.
• Grade and maintain all certification exams, including writing grading scripts.
• Develop quizzes for course-completion badges and ClickHouse credentials.
• Write and deploy quizzes for ClickHouse credentials.
• Establish a community presence for ClickHouse certified professionals via social media and events.
• Track and report metrics and KPIs of the certification program.
• Coordinate with certification and badging vendors to ensure delivery of exams and badges.
• Handle customer support from learners pursuing certifications.
• Travel occasionally to meetups and conferences to promote ClickHouse to the community.
