Job summary

CFP Board is seeking a Manager, Certification Operations based in Washington, DC, to oversee day-to-day operations of Certification Operations, including examination registration, experience verification, education verification, and maintenance of certification records.

You will lead a high-performing team, ensure policy compliance, and drive continuous improvement while delivering an exceptional candidate and certificant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; master's preferred.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in certification, credentialing, or related operational environments.
• Two or more years of supervisory or people management experience.
• Experience leading high-volume, deadline-driven processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of Certification Operations, including examination registration, experience verification, education verification, certification maintenance, reinstatements, appeals, and other certification lifecycle activities.
• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate Certification Operations staff, fostering a collaborative, service-oriented, and high-performing team culture.
• Establish operational priorities, allocate workloads, and manage staffing resources to ensure timely processing and service levels.
• Ensure consistent application of CFP Board policies and compliance with organizational requirements.
• Oversee examination registration operations, candidate processing, accommodations, and certification records.
• Monitor performance metrics; prepare reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
• Lead quality assurance activities and maintain data integrity of records and documentation.
