Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Certification Engineer in Washington state to lead FAA compliance for aircraft interior systems. You will interpret OEM design requirements, perform certification tests, and develop training materials to enhance team knowledge and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of OEM Design requirements and FAA requirements for the installation of aircraft interior system/subsystem components.
  • Proficiency in advanced math and the ability to apply these skills to real-world applications.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training materials.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and the ability to interpret and apply these to various projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.

Responsibilities

  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Keep abreast of changes in FAA regulations and industry standards, implementing changes as necessary to maintain compliance.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Permanent Certification Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is perfect for a passionate individual with a strong background in OEM Design requirements, FAA requirements for the installation of aircraft interior system/subsystem components, and advanced math skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of certification-related tasks, including developing training material on certification/ODA procedures and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
