Precision Castparts Corp. certification clerk in South Gate, CA issues and reviews certifications for customer shipments, records heat treatment data, and matches certificates to orders. You will store receiving inspection documents in ERP and document databases following established procedures.

This on-site, full-time role requires at least 1 year of experience, basic English literacy, and MS Office/Excel skills. The company offers PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision, and a 401(k) plan.

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Issue, review and maintain production and supplier quality certifications, as required.
• Review quality certifications against purchase order, drawing and specification requirements for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist and/or prepare data packs for any products as necessary.
• Priority will be established by the Quality Manager, Quality Engineers, or Operations.
• Scan and file documents including supplier certs daily as necessary.
• Update Quality document logs, as required.
• Assist in and/or documentation of quality requirements.
• Assist in quality systems processes including internal audits (training will be provided.).
• Cross-train with facility administrator to provide back-up responsibilities as needed.
• Assisting in department projects
• Ordering department supplies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Certification clerk issues certifications for customer shipments, lot number, heat treatment data, material certs, independent testing of heat treat process, retrieve process certifications and match with relevant shipments. The Certification Clerk stores the receiving inspection documents using computer software, ERP system/doc database, following procedures and certification codes.

Pay & Benefits

• For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18.00 to $30.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.
• For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter.
• Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year.
• Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
• Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
• Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
