Job summary

Dayton Children's Main Campus is hiring a Central Sterile Supply Technician to clean, reprocess, sterilize and distribute instruments and case carts for surgery. You will maintain sterilization records and support infection prevention protocols while coordinating with Surgery and other units.

The role requires 7a-3:30p, Monday–Friday, with a High School Diploma or GED and CRCST or CSPDT certification. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Duties include: equipment cleaning, reprocessing and distribution, maintaining accurate records of sterilization and biological tests, assembly of case carts for surgery cases as requested on the pick tickets, and delivery of carts to the staging room in surgery. Responsible for complying with an effective hospital wide program for the prevention, and control of infection.
