Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring for a Full-time Medical Assistant in Greenwood Village, CO. The role supports patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical tasks within a hospital setting. A CMA/CMAC or equivalent credential is required or may be substituted by listed certifications.

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available for new hires. Minimum education is a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred customer service experience in a medical office.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
• Assists with treatments ordered by the provider under supervision.
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Performs basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Orders and stocks supplies, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
• Documents provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.
