Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring a part-time Medical Assistant in Greenwood Village, CO. You will interview patients, record vital signs, and assist with provider-ordered treatments under supervision. The role includes room prep, basic clerical work, and maintaining supplies and records.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; CMA/CMAC/CMAC variants or NCMA-style credentials are accepted. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and CMA/CMAC/CMAS variants or RNMA alternatives are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
• Assists with treatments ordered by the provider under supervision.
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations and performs basic clerical duties.
• Orders and stocks supplies, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
• Documents provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.
