Job summary

United Surgical Partners International seeks a Hospital Physician Clinical Systems Specialist to train clinicians on the Cerner EMR and provide hands-on support. Under supervision, you will assist with EMR implementation, support, and optimization to ensure smooth clinical workflows.

You will work with physicians and nurses, gather feedback, and help align EMR use with policy and standards while improving IS service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 3 years of experience in a clinical hospital setting.
• Ability to develop, maintain and collaborate with clinicians.
• Ability to problem-solve and resolve conflict.
• Understands clinical workflow and can integrate technology into practice.
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication.
• Must be a model of credibility, professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Train clinicians to efficiently use the Cerner EMR and provide at-the-elbow support.
• Assist in EMR implementation, support and optimization as needed.
• Provide direct support to providers and nurses to integrate EMR into workflow.
• Collaborate with the Market Clinical Informatics Director to improve satisfaction with the EMR.
