Shriners Children’s is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinic operations, room patients, record vitals, and document visits in the EMR. You will assist with minor procedures, manage supplies, and support Telehealth when applicable, under RN supervision. Hours are 7:30 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with full-time commitment.
The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and Medical Assistant certification from a recognized body, plus BLS. Prior pediatric care experience is preferred.

The Medical Assistant (MA) will support and facilitate clinic operations by performing clinical, clerical, and technical duties, including patient rooming, documentation during visits, assisting with minor procedures, managing supplies, supporting Telehealth services when applicable, and flexing to administrative support when needed. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical competence, and the ability to work both independently and coll95aboratively to ensure an optimal care experience for patients and families. In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts. Hours: This full-time position will work7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
