Job summary

Cormetech, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to ensure oven and activation processes meet throughput, yield, and uptime goals. You will support daily operations with technical guidance while managing engineering projects and production equipment.

You will analyze data, drive continuous improvement, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Development, Quality, Lab, Maintenance, and vendors. A BS in relevant engineering and strong problem-solving are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ceramic, chemical, mechanical, or materials engineering.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid knowledge of process control concepts.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Basic statistics for data analysis in operations.
• Experience with Excel for data analysis.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure oven and activation processes meet requirements and standards.
• Improve or optimize machine and process parameters to reduce costs.
• Maintain data collection systems for materials, production, and product data.
• Meet production metrics and address issues promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement of product and process performance.
• Lead technical efforts to troubleshoot machine and material issues.
• Develop new products and processing parameters as needed.
• Lead qualification efforts for new products, processes, or materials.
