CTS Corporation in New Mexico is seeking a Ceramic Process Engineer to lead the optimization of ceramic manufacturing processes, including PZT formulation, batching, spray dry, pressing and sintering. You will drive DOE, DMAIC, Six Sigma projects and train staff to maintain high yields and quality.

You will provide technical leadership to technicians and engineers, report progress to management, and collaborate with facilities, QA, and suppliers to implement improvements and support new product

Formación

• Minimum BS in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Materials Science.
• Experience with ceramic processing equipment is preferred.
• Wearing a respirator may be required for handling lead oxide.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve ceramic manufacturing processes with emphasis on PZT formulation, batching, spray dry, pressing, and sintering.
• Provide technical leadership to technicians and lower level engineers.
• Lead and train staff in DOE, DMAIC, Six Sigma and related statistical methods.
• Collaborate with facilities, quality, and operations to install and transfer improvements.
• Support new product introduction and ensure manufacturability and quality.
