Job summary

CERAMTEC NORTH AMERICA LLC in Willoughby, OH is seeking a Ceramic Core Finisher to join our manufacturing team. The role involves finishing and repairing ceramic hardware and airfoils per SOPs and customer specs, and coordinating outgoing and incoming shipments with local transport.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong fine motor skills with ability to handle fragile parts
• Use of precision handheld air grinder and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent attendance & dependability a must
• Willingness to cross-train in other company job functions is expected

Responsibilities

• Follow documented job specific work instructions
• Finish and repair ceramic hardware product and airfoils using handheld and free-standing equipment and tools
• Visually inspect product and identify defects
• Maintain required documentation and paperwork
• Produce quality ceramic cores, meeting production goals and quality requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Communicate effectively with manager, lead person, quality inspectors, engineering, and fellow operators
• Assure proper completion of end of shift duties including production reporting, required TPM, and 6S activities
• Know and follow all company safety rules and regulations
