Job summary

LECO Corporation in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a Ceramic Caster for our manufacturing team. The role involves casting ceramic parts, demolding, id marking, deflashing, repairing, and creating tickets for parts.

You will load and unload parts on drying racks, complete paperwork for traceability, and work a 5:00am–1:30pm schedule with occasional overtime. The position requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience with ceramic parts casting or similar casting processes preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical workload.

Responsibilities

Schedule:

Full Time: 5:00am – 1:30pm, Monday – Friday and occasional overtime as required

Position Summary:

The Ceramics Caster will observe the schedule and cast the parts requested. The caster will completely demold, id mark, de-flash, repair, and create tickets for parts.

Position Responsibilities:

• Casting and de-molding of ceramic parts including cleanup and patching of parts
• Loading and unloading of ceramic parts onto drying racks
• Completing all necessary paperwork for part traceability

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand in place for long periods of time
• Machine operation experience preferred
• General industrial shop experience preferred
