Qualifications

• Experience with Cerakote or ceramic coatings preferred (firearm coatings).
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sandblasting and media blasting.
• Familiarity with firearm components, disassembly, and reassembly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

• Apply Cerakote ceramic coatings to firearms, parts, and accessories with precision and consistency
• Perform surface preparation including disassembly, degreasing, sandblasting, and media blasting
• Mix and match Cerakote colors and finishes to meet customer specifications
• Cure coated parts using industrial ovens and monitor proper temperature and timing
• Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring uniform coverage and adhesion
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe painting environment
• Communicate with customers and staff regarding project timelines and finish options

Requirements:

• Prior experience with Cerakote application or similar ceramic/firearm coatings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques including sandblasting and media blasting
• Familiarity with firearm components, disassembly, and reassembly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be able to pass a background check in compliance with federal firearms regulations
• Experience with spray equipment and paint booths is a plus
