Better Markets seeks a President & CEO to lead the organization in promoting its mission of economic and social justice by ensuring economic security, opportunity, and prosperity for all Americans.

This independent and nonpartisan organization works toward this through advocacy on economic and financial policymaking, including in regulatory agency rulemakings, research and policy analysis, litigation, expert advice, and public education.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience in the public or nonprofit sector.
• Background in the economy or financial markets and regulation.
• Established relationships with policymakers.
• Advanced degree preferred, not required.

Responsabilités

• Set the organization’s strategic vision and direct its policy agenda.
• Lead a team of senior mission-driven experts and manage fundraising relations.
• Serve as the organization’s voice with Congress, regulators, the White House, the media and donors.
• Oversee financial health and communications strategy.
