Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in the insurance industry or related lines.
• Advanced degree such as a Master’s in Accounting, Finance or MBA; Juris Doctor (preferred)
• Deep understanding of mutual insurance model, governance and policyholder relationships
• Proven track record delivering profitable growth while managing underwriting risk
• Hands-on experience with state insurance departments, regulatory compliance and external stakeholders
• Extensive knowledge in insurance financials, actuarial models, reserving, reinsurance strategies
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse stakeholders
• Strategic thinker capable of leading change and building high-performing teams

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the organization’s strategic plan translating board priorities into growth initiatives.
• Maintain financial strength via budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise risk management.
• Manage reinsurance relationships and enforce financial discipline.
• Protect underwriting standards while innovating with modern tools and channels.
• Lead and align subsidiary operations to ensure exceptional member service.
• Represent the company to policyholders, regulators and industry partners.
• Foster an adaptive culture and lead change while preserving core values.
