Crisis Assistance Ministry seeks a mission-anchored, people-centered Chief Executive Officer to lead Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s trusted safety net. The next leader will guide growth, expand housing stability, and diversify resources with a confident, values-driven approach.

The CEO will partner with a 25-member Board, oversee a 60-person staff, and ensure services align with the organization’s mission, vision, and impact goals in a growing community.

Qualifications

• Three capabilities will be especially important: demonstrated fundraising and donor development, visible external community leadership and public advocacy, and ambitious vision and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Direction and Measurable Growth: define five-year direction with priorities and accountability.
• Fundraising and Financial Stewardship: lead high-level donor relationships and drive growth in major gifts and revenue strategies.
• Community Leadership, Partnership, and Voice: expand the organization's role as a community leader and build partnerships across sectors.
• People, Culture, and Organizational Effectiveness: sustain a culture of dignity, integrity, and employee well-being; lead via the executive team.
