Job summary

Novastone Capital Advisors is seeking a high-potential mid-career professional to partner with NCA and search, acquire, and lead a small to mid-sized US-based company as Chief Executive Officer.

As an NCA Searcher, you will run a 24‑month executive search with support from our Investment Management team, and you will be offered an attractive base compensation plus vested equity in the acquired business to fuel your entrepreneurial journey.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional experience with leadership roles and full P&L responsibility
• Executive MBA or MBA degree preferred
• Min. 10+ years running/growing businesses or business units in the US
• Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship
• Deep expertise/vision in Business Services, Software/Tech-Enabled, or Distribution & Logistics

Responsibilities

• Establish a search process with clear criteria to generate deal flow
• Manage acquisition process with Investment Management support
• Step into the CEO role of the acquired business
• Develop long-term strategy and 100-day plans for growth
• Grow top line via marketing and sales initiatives
• Review offerings and implement portfolio improvements
• Lead geographic expansion and market entry strategies
• Ensure profitability and operational efficiency
