Job summary

Temple University Health System seeks a physician executive to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Temple Faculty Physicians (TFP), the multispecialty academic practice plan. The CEO will lead TFP's strategic, operational, financial, and cultural performance and work closely with the Lewis Katz School of Medicine.

Reporting to the President & CEO of Temple University Health System, the role requires building partnerships with the medical school, department chairs, and system leaders to advance

Qualifications

• MD or DO required from an accredited medical school.
• Progressive executive leadership in a large multispecialty physician group or academic enterprise.
• Track record of leading operational and financial improvement in a complex environment.
• Experience partnering with medical school leadership and department chairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead TFP's strategic, operational, financial, and cultural performance in alignment with TUHS and LKSOM.
• Oversee revenue cycle, provider compensation, workforce strategy, quality, and patient access.
• Staff and develop the TFP leadership team with clear accountability and succession planning.
• Drive governance, funds flow, and academic collaboration between TFP, Temple Health, and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine.
• Manage annual operating budget and long‑term financial plan.
