Job summary

Lendmark Financial Services is hiring a Centralized Servicing Representative I to support branch and centralized operations. You will handle a variety of duties including customer inquiries on the toll-free line, mail processing, complaint entry, and payment posting, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years in consumer finance, strong attention to detail, and solid MS Office skills.

• Use of personal vehicle may be required for mail collection and bank deposits; mileage reimbursed.
• May require lifting of materials up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Enters customer complaints and credit disputes into the management system.
• Processes returned mail, letters, and other correspondence.
• Handles release of liens and pays out contracts per state law and guidelines.
• Manages system help desk tickets and payment postings.
• Prepares daily banking deposits and balances cash drawers.
• Processes charge-offs on delinquent accounts and handles modification requests.
• Manages position-related risk and executes other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Centralized Servicing Representative I is responsible for providing support to branch and centralized operations, handling a variety of functions.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates the company’s Customer Service Toll-Free line; handling inquiries and concerns, asking for clarification to deal with each inquiry or concern promptly, and accurately to resolve customer questions, or transferring callers to appropriate parties for assistance
• Responsible for picking up mail daily for our facility; sorting and distributing among our various departments
• Responsible for entering all customer complaints, and credit disputes received via telephone, email, or mail, utilizing our complaint management software
• Processing all returned mail, returned check letters, credit verification letters, or any other correspondence received
• Proper handling of processing paid out contracts, and releasing liens in a timely manner, according to state law and company guidelines
• Efficiently and accurately handles system related “help desk” tickets
• Accurately posts all centralized payment handling; including but not limited to mail, electronic, repo payments, bankrupt trustee payments, and garnishment payments
• Preparing daily banking deposit, balancing cash drawers each day, maintaining a cash count record, and other cashier related duties
• Processing charge off transactions on all 180 day delinquent accounts
• Processing of modification requests
• Manages risk relative to position
• All other duties assigned by Management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution
• 0 - 2 years consumer finance or related experience
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Use of personal vehicle may be required for mail collection and bank deposits made at off-site locations; mileage is reimbursed for these activities
• May require lifting of materials up to 15 lbs.

COMPENSATION

• The salary range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on the specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Experience of the selected candidate.
• This position is eligible for Semi Annual Incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines.
