Arkansas-Urology in Little Rock is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Office Assistant to manage the daily office functions and assist patients in person and on the phone.
You will handle appointment coordination, update patient information, gather records, maintain HIPAA compliance, and use EMR/EHR systems and Outlook to keep schedules accurate.
The role requires strong organization, multitasking, and a courteous approach to patients, physicians, and staff in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsible for daily function of the scheduling office and assisting with patient needs, in the office and on the phone.
Monday-Friday 7:45AM-4:32PM
Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 0 to 6 months related experience or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months of related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Outlook. Familiarity with scheduling appointments and working within a call queue preferred.
