Job summary
Paladin Consulting is seeking a Central Utility Controls Engineer for our client in Aurora, Ohio. You will define, develop, test, and implement boiler, chiller, water polishing, and BOP control solutions using leading automation technologies.
Requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 3–6 years of controls experience; familiarity with Rockwell, AVEVA, Emerson DeltaV, and common protocols; 25% travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- 3-6 years of relevant controls experience
- Working knowledge of Boiler Combustion Controls, 3-Element Control, Burner Management Systems, Chiller controls and staging, Water Polishing, CH Power, District Heating or Cooling.
Responsibilities
- As Central Utility Controls Engineer, support definition, development, testing and implementation of Boiler, Chiller, Water Polishing and BOP solutions using leading automation technologies.
- Create Functional Specifications including SOO and BOMs.
- Support Electrical Designers to develop project drawing packages.
- Develop, test and deploy PLCs, DCSs and HMIs for Central Utility Applications.
- Develop Test Plans for FAT and SAT and support execution of tests.
- Support loop checks, start-up and commissioning activities.
- Perform formal and informal customer training.
- Troubleshoot existing systems.
