Job summary

Paladin Consulting is seeking a Central Utility Controls Engineer to define, develop, test, and implement Boiler, Chiller, Water Polishing and BOP solutions using modern automation from leading OEMs. You will draft Functional Specifications, SOOs and BOMs, and support Electrical Designers with project drawing packages.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3–6 years of controls experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution is required.
3–6 years of relevant controls experience required.
Experience with boiler/chiller controls and related systems preferred.
Familiarity with Rockwell/AVEVA/Ignition/DeltaV and common industry protocols expected.

Responsibilities

Define, develop, test and implement Boiler, Chiller, Water Polishing and BOP solutions using modern automation technologies.
Create Functional Specifications, including SOO and BOMs.
Support Electrical Designers to develop project drawing packages.
Develop, test and deploy PLCs, DCSs and HMIs for Central Utility Applications.
Develop Test Plans for FAT and SAT and support execution of tests.
Assist startup, commissioning and customer training activities as required.
Troubleshoot existing systems and provide ongoing support.
