Central Support Operations Coordinator - National Remote

Join us as a Central Support Operations Coordinator - National Remote at Optum.

Position Overview

This full-time role involves managing communication, data entry, and coordination of member care within a healthcare setting. The position is remote, with flexible hours during weekdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm CST, including occasional overtime and 10-hour shifts. Training is virtual and lasts two weeks, with on-the-job support provided.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, maintaining quality standards.
  2. Process electronic communications and data accurately.
  3. Update and verify member information in care management systems and communicate with healthcare providers.
  4. Complete administrative documentation related to member records and care coordination.
  5. Support the smooth transition of care between providers and health plans.
  6. Generate and review reports to monitor team duties.
  7. Follow organizational policies and participate in meetings.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of data entry experience and computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work flexible 10-hour shifts during weekdays.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in healthcare, familiarity with medical terminology, and HIPAA laws.
  • Ability to interpret data within care systems.

Compensation and Benefits
